Indian Student Internship Program is a summer program that welcomes Indian sister universities students, both undergraduates and graduates, around the globe. This will be a two-month research experience under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Each participant will working collaboratively with their advisor on an on-going research project or a new project of mutual interests.
The program offers a great opportunity with the mixture of cultural experiences, and academic achievements. During the two-month program, you will work along with local students on conducting research projects.

‧Application Requirements:
1. Only for undergraduate students should above junior year (included) and graduate students.
2. NTHU’s sister universities in India: Jamia Millia Islamia, University of Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Anna University Chennai, Indian Institute of Science, Amity University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, O.P. Jindal Global University.

‧Application steps:
Step 1 Approach the International Office of your home Institution to seek for a nomination for internship in 2015.
Step 2 Fill out all application documents
Step 3 Print out the application documents
Step 4 Ask the International Office of your home Institution to complete the Endorsement.
Step 5 Submit the application documents to International Office of your home Institution for forwarding to Division of General Affairs, NTHU by email (one pdf file for each student) before the application deadline.

A limited number will get scholarship with subsidized round trip airline tickets up to NTD 15,000 and free accommodation at university residence hall.

2. Do I need to pay for housing if I didn’t receive scholarship?
-Yes, those without scholarship will need to pay for housing.
3. Does the program supply food?
-No, all participants will have to cover food cost on your own.
4. I am still willing to join this program without scholarship, what are the things I should be aware of?
-Please prepare sufficient amount of money since you will need to cover all costs, including housing, food, and you may like to travel around Taiwan with your friends on weekends.
5. What is the format for recommendation letter?
-There is no specific format for the recommendation letter. Please do have your referee sign for your recommendation letter.
6. Will I be able to go out of Taiwan during the internship period?
-No. students have to stay in Taiwan until they finished the internship.
7. Am I eligible for Indian Student Internship Program?
-As long as you are undergraduate above 3 years or graduate students in Indian sister univerties with good academic performance are qualified to apply.
